ON OCTOBER 24TH, 65 HAND-SELECTED FOUNDERS & CEOS UNITED FOR A CLOSED-DOOR, PEER-TO-PEER, DEEP LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
The Lead Assembly hosted 65 hand-selected Founders and CEOs from high growth DTC brands for a peer learning experience like no other, addressing the most pressing questions faced by leadership today.
We came together at The Four Seasons in New York to suss out the business concerns these CEOs and Founders are facing. Each CEO and Founder shared his or her current business challenges prior to The Assembly and The Lead Editorial team evenly divided the group among 9 round tables.
Part therapy session, part learning session, part network building — The Lead Assembly is the only gathering that is built by CEOs and Founders and attended exclusively by CEOs and Founders.
The program consisted of 27 round table discussions, curated one-to-one meetings, and peer-to-peer conversations. Through customized agendas made for each CEO’s specific requests and needs, attendees were able to dive deep into the topics that matter most to their businesses today.
Roundtable topics included — Balancing Growth and Profitability, Cost-Effective Customer Acquisition, Creating and Maintaining Company Culture, Customer Retention and Community, Deploying Technology and Data, Developing the Wholesale Channel, Diversifying Marketing Channels and Tactics, Hiring and Building the Team, International Expansion, Messaging and Branding, Optimizing Physical Retail, Optimizing Supply Chain and Inventory, Organization and Management, Product Strategy and Category Expansion, Raising Capital and Managing Investors, Resources Allocation and Strategic Prioritization, & Scaling for Growth.
The format was strictly conversational, fostering personal, authentic connections. CEOs and Founders sat around each round table to discuss specific challenges, learnings, and opportunities— large enough for a range of perspectives, small enough to dive deep.
Immersive conversation, one-to-one meetings, and structured breaks encouraged the dialog and facilitated new relationships from collaborations to friendships.
