“What continues to impress me in the marketing space – and what I think will be even more of a factor in the years to come – is the degree to which creativity plays a central role in every aspect of bringing a brand to life, not just in the areas people typically expect. Of course, crafting beautiful, evocative and engaging content in our marketing assets is incredibly important, but so much of the power in our work as marketers comes in little breakthroughs, like discovering how to use an existing channel in a new way, finding an elegant solve for a technical roadblock or discovering a new application for a winning strategy that’s proven successful elsewhere. It’s all about finding novel approaches to connect our larger vision back to the resources we have, and with the set of available tools in this space expanding so quickly, I’m excited to continue to observe and participate in the creative process of finding the best possible use for them.”
