“From a product perspective, there’s significant opportunity to leverage AI not just for automating manual tasks like writing user stories, and scoring, but also for more advanced applications. We’ve begun exploring how an AI agent, trained on our prioritization framework, could assist with backlog prioritization. While I appreciate the tactical aspects of this work, balancing automation with human involvement is key. I think that as people shop, we’ll reach a point where an AI agent shops on their behalf. My main concern and excitement is optimizing our sites and channels to enable this data-driven AI shopping, which differs from how humans shop. While some people will still enjoy the traditional shopping experience, we’ll ultimately need to support both methods.”
